The Reverend Dr. Peter M. Antoci
With a passion for Christian formation and community, Reverend Antoci finds joy in working with communities that are ready to embrace a new stage of vitality. Pastoral hospitality and community outreach have been hallmarks of Peter’s ministry over the years. He works with folks from across all generations, from children to seniors. In addition to being our Pastor, he is a Dean for the Southern Maryland Region of the Diocese of Washington.
Reverend Deacon Elizabeth Dixon
An ordained Vocational Deacon since September 2019, Elizabeth previously worked for 20 years as the head nurse of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of the Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center in Washington,
D.C. Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and raised in Takoradi, Ghana, Elizabeth takes pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her hobbies are gardening and cooking and she enjoys singing. Her passion is social justice, inspired to the ministry by the injustices she has
experienced in her own life and her desire to help others.
Director of Music
As Music Director, Cindy is an accomplished organist and choir director, vocal coach and adjudicator, accompanist, and choral clinician. With degrees in Music from the University of Texas at Austin and from the Conservatory at Shenandoah University in Virginia, she has taught music in the Fairfax County, Virginia Public Schools. Currently, she serves on a student scholarship board and volunteers with the Annapolis Maritime Museum.

Born in San Juan Puerto Rico, Iona has lived in Maryland for most of her life, where she was raised in the Episcopal church. She attended Georgetown University and received a B.S. in history from the University of Maryland. Since moving to the Croom area of the DMV, her family has attended St. Thomas’ Church. She has served on the Vestry from 2009 until 2016 and as Treasurer of St. Thomas Parish from 2014 until 2020. Working as our Administrator enables her to continue to serve our wonderful diverse St. Thomas community.
